An AutoLISP routine to calculate the distance measured by a dimension entity, whether or not the value has been overrriden. Automatically recognizes dimension type and applies all applicable dimension variables (rounding specified by DIMRND may be disabled).
Requires AutoCAD R12 or higher. Tested in AutoCAD R14 and 2000, but should work in R13 and R12.
