A set of AutoLISP routines to make connecting to a database from AutoCAD 12, 13, 14, or 2000 somewhat easier. Includes functions to connect to a database, execute an arbitrary SQL statement (without replacable parameters), disconnect from a database, and others. Includes extensive documentation and tips and tricks. Includes sample Access databases (Microsoft Access is not required) and drawings and examples.
Uses the AutoCAD SQL Interface (ASI) API to connect to the database. Since this API is now essentially obsolete, there will be no further updates. If you are writing a LISP routine to work in AutoCAD 2000 (or later releases) only, I recommend that you do not use DBL; use ADOLISP Database Library instead.
Requires AutoCAD R12, R13, R14, or 2000 or 2000i.
